When this begins to happen, will much of it start in secret, or will it all be out in the open from the outset?
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
King Jesus, God manifest in the flesh, will have been ruling the earth with a rod of iron for a thousand years.For one, he will clearly know when this begins to happen.He will know, not only all that they will be doing, but he will know every thought of their hearts and minds, then, as well as from the foundation of the earth.
But, will others know, at that time, as well?Will those who had suffered for his sake, and will have been reigning with him, be knowledgable of these things?
Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
II Timothy 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
At some point, maybe even before they begin to gather to battle, people will begin to know.The leaders of the nations may probably be the first to be deceived.Then they probably will begin communication with others in their nation who will be similarly deceived, as well as with other deceived nation leaders.
But, won't there likely be some people in those nations that may not be deceived, though perhaps most of the others in those nations may be deceived?
Before those nations gather to battle, won't there be a time where weapons will need to be refurbished?After all, at the beginning of the kingdom, will not Jesus cause weapons to be eliminated on the earth?
Isaiah 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Psalms 46:9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
Hosea 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
How long will it take them to refurbish weapons from scratch, to arm such a great multitude?Will they imprison, or maybe even kill, those who refuse to go along with the rebellion?If so, will Jesus reassure those who may be killed by the rebels, in their own nations, before the battle begins?
Then, as that massive multitude of rebels begin to gather to battle, will Jesus reassure those in the camp of the saints, that all will end well for them?Especially as the rebel forces compass the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city?
Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Clearly, the rebels will be allowed to do what they intend to do.Will the others, who do not rebel, as well as those in the camp of the saints, be encouraged, by Jesus, to walk by faith at that time?To trust King Jesus, that he knows exactly what is going on, and that he plans to have everything conclude according to the plan and will of the Father?
I've been wondering, have any of you studied, or thought upon, those final days of the kingdom?Have you ever read, or heard, what others may have taught on this subject?
