I see something nefarious with this - nothing Soros does is good for the U.S. or the world. The Democrats are on the move to control the narrative, not only on TV, but also radio, and prevent Conservatives/Republicans/MAGA people from hearing Conservatives like Hannity, Beck and Levin on the radio.  This is the beginning of the end of 'free speech' on the radio.

 

Thanks to a Democratic majority on the FCC's panel - Soros' company Soros Fund Management has been permitted to acquire "the second-largest radio network in the country."

 

Audacy is that network and it "runs radio shows in over 46 U.S. markets and features programs by Sean Hanity, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, and others.  There is genuine concerns that Soros might attempt to suppress these voices in the lead-up to the November elections.

 

The FCC gave Soros' foreign stakeholders a "special warrants' to hold off on a review and aseessment of foreign ownership interests.  There is a communications law "that prophibits corporations with more than 25 percent foreign ownership from legally holding a radio license.."

Audacy filed for bankruptcy in January this year for restructuring it;s 'balance sheet' and is currently working on exiting Chapter 11. After exiting Chapter 11, Audacy would have "access to new loans and financing."  Soros' Soros Fund Management provided some $415 million for Audacy's debt - making this fund the largest stakeholder.  Audacy owes $1.9 billion.

 

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) said a more thorough review of this Soros acquisition is needed to "ensure there is no undue influence on the broadcaster.  He said federal agency reviews will deal with "national security, law enforcement, foreign policy, and trade policy."  So the deal "should be on hold".

Auday is "a network that reaches 165 million monthly listeners and includes a handful of conservative shows from hosts including Sean Hannity, Dana Loesch, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and Erick Erickson.  But their influence is likely to be muted if the billionairs takes over and imposes his agenda, as has happened with other media acquisitions."

 

"A source with knowledge of the deal told The Post:  "The idea that George Soros is buying hundreds of local radio stations right before a national election and will keep broadcasting Sean Hannity and other conservative talk radio hosts on Audacy is not credible."

 

"However, to take control Soros Fund Management needs help from the FCC as the money funneled into buying the bankrupt network comes from abroad.  Under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of US radio stations is not allowed to exceed 25% - but a filing acquired by The Post details Soros' asking the commission to make an exception."

Audacy owns more than 220 radio stations.

The tentacles of evil are continuing to spread through America...

 

When the electric grids are taken down maybe before the Tribulation period starts, but for sure during the Tribulation period - people will turn to radio (and ham radios, etc) - but if the radio networks are controlled by Soros, Democrats, globalists, etc....there will be only propaganda and lies to listen to. The Truth will be hard to come by.

 

On Glenn Beck's radio show, he often makes the comment that he doesn't know how long his radio show will be allowed to air - he sees the 'hand writing on the wall'.
