How come the pulpits have been totally silent on Darwin and Freud since the late 19th century? You look at Spurgeon's topical sermon index, and he is totally silent on the subject. As far as I remember you have never properly covered this topic! Basically, Darwin is an attack on the morals and ethics of the Christian foundation of civilization. If people are merely animals such as Darwin and Freud insist, "thinning the herd" of "subhuman cattle" aka mass genocide, is perfectly acceptible. We realize that the purpose of the Darwinian and German Enlightenment was to bring about the same type of revolution in England and in the rest of Europe that had happened in France at the end of the 18th century. Their purpose was to cause a reign of terror such that their present social and political order would be washed away to bring about Satan's kingdom. Of course, it was not yet God's time for the final act of History. I am a history geek and am astonished by the lack of proper coverage on this topic. Lewis Brackett
