"Bob Ware - The Last Day of 2023"

Hi Bob, John and Doves,

Bob - your post linked below. The last day of 2023 on your chart, caught my eye. For a different reason. The date of December 31st being the last Gregorian calendar date of 2023. It has recently occurred to me that there may be something to that date. It's the date that syncs our New Year to the Hebrew new year of 5784. This may one heck of a stretch, but the numbers got me thinking. The Hebrew language is read from right to left - as opposed to our method of reading from left to right. The last two digits off 2024 read the number 42 backwards. And the last two digits of 5784 read as the number 48 when read from right to left. The numbers 42 and 48 are highly significant, as you know.

I can't shake the feeling that the typical New Year celebrations are connected to the scripture that states:- "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing and drunkeness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap". Luke 21:34. (See 2nd link below).

If we make it to the new year parties at the close of 2023 - it will be with heavy, worried and anxious hearts. We are all already worn down with all the evil that's happening. Thank Almighty God for our faith and hope.

Something to ponder, perhaps?
