This is in reply to your 8/27 post on the throne in the kingdom (fivedoves.com) If the Lord Jesus is sitting on the throne of David in Jerusalem, it makes we wonder where David will sit since he is going to be King over the Jews and their prince forever according to the following verse:
Ezekiel 37:24-25, "And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever."
However, Ezekiel 44:1-3 below shows the prince (David) sitting in the Eastern gateway to the Temple to eat bread before the Lord.
Ezekiel 44:1-3, "Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut. Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut. It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same."
