"A Dream....."

I had a dream last night that many people were sitting around, all dressed up waiting for the Rapture.  We waited for the first sunset (Fri eve), the 2nd sunset (Sat eve), and then finally for the 3rd sunset (Sun eve)......of the Feast of Trumpets.  I could see the red sunset glowing through the windows, as it faded.

The rapture did not happen......and I was sad, as was everyone else.

Then these words came to my mind:

After 2 days He will Arouse us.

It was meant to be an encouragement.

I looked it up, it is a verse in Hosea:

Hosea 6:2

“After two days will he revive us:
in the third day he will raise us up,
and we shall live in his sight.”

Here is the passage:

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.   <<<this has special meaning to me, because I am currently struggling with a very painful torn rotator cuff.  I was in a lot of pain several times last night....which disappointed me because 3 days ago I got a steroid injection which was supposed to stop the pain.......obviously it has not worked as hoped.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.   <<<maybe we need to wait one day longer than the two days allotted for the Feast of Trumpets?

3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

After two days will He revive us (or quicken us, give us life,) in the third day He will raise us up - The Resurrection of Christ, and our resurrection in Him and in His Resurrection, could not be more plainly foretold. The prophet expressly mentions "two days," after which life should be given, and a "third day, on" which the resurrection should take place. What else can this be than the two days in which the Body of Christ lay in the tomb, and the third day, on which He rose again, as "the Resurrection and the life" John 11:25, "the first fruits of them that slept" 1 Corinthians 15:20, the source and earnest and pledge of our resurrection and of life eternal? The Apostle, in speaking of our resurrection in Christ, uses these self-same words of the prophet; "God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us - hath quickened us together with Christ, and hath raised us up and made us to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" Ephesians 2:4-6.

So Christ was aroused on the 2nd day while he was in the tomb......I guess then he went down to Sheol to preach the gospel to those who died before him?

Well, I'm not sure why God gave me this scripture in my dreams.....other than a message of hope to wait beyond the 2 days......when I was despairing that there was no rapture when expected, on the 2 days of this Feast of Trumpets.

Maranatha!
