(Have I sometimes forgotten that what I do actually pleases or displeases Jesus?)
Jeremiah 44:4b Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Psalms 78:40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
Mark 10:14a But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased,
II Samuel 11:27b But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
Isaiah 59:15b and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
(I know that Jesus pleased the Father well:)

Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
(So it should be possible for me to please Jesus:)
Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Psalms 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.31 This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
