BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON vs. GOG-MAGOG WAR.............

Revelation 16:14-17 ( Battle of Armageddon )

"For they are the spirits of devils , working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth , AND OF THE WHOLE WORLD to gather them TO THE BATTLE OF THAT GREAT DAY of God Almighty.

'And He gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue, Armageddon. ............And the SEVENTH ANGEL poured out his vial.......saying, IT IS DONE."

Ezekiel 38:14-16 ( Gog-Magog War )

"Therefore, Son of Man, prophesy and say unto Gog, ..... thou shall come from out of thy place OUT OF THE NORTH PARTS, and many people with you, a great company and a mighty army. And thou shall come up AGAINST MY PEOPLE of Israel ......it shall be in the latter days that I WILL BRING THEE AGAINST MY LAND....'

YOU CAN READILY SEE, from comparing the two previous Scriptures, that the KINGS OF THE WHOLE WORLD are called to the Battle of Armageddon AGAINST GOD ALMIGHTY , but ONLY GOG, FROM THE NORTH PARTS, AND THE PEOPLE WITH GOG are called to the Gog-Magog War AGAINST THE LAND AND PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.

Revelation 19:19 & 21   ( The end of the Battle of Armageddon )

"And I SAW THE BEAST and the KINGS OF THE EARTH AND THEIR ARMIES , gathered together to make WAR AGAINST HIM  that sat upon the white horse, and AGAINST HIS ARMY. And the remnant were slain WITH THE SWORD OF HIM which sat upon the white horse, which SWORD PROCEEDED OUT OF HIS MOUTH...."

Ezekiel 38:21-22  ( The end of the Gog-Magog War )

"Saith the Lord God, EVERY MAN'S SWORD SHALL BE AGAINST HIS BROTHER.......and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, a overflowing rain and great hailstones and fire and brimstone..."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

THE BEAST, ie. the anti-Christ,  IS PRESENT at the Battle of Armageddon, but NOT at the Gog-Magog War. The Battle of Armageddon includes the nations of THE WHOLE WORLD  against the Lord, and THE LORD  slays them with  the sword of His mouth which is THE WORD OF GOD.  To end the Gog-Magog War "EVERY MAN'S SWORD IS AGAINST HIS BROTHER" therefore they kill one another.

The Gog-Magog War and the Battle of Armageddon are two separate and distinct events. The Gog-Magog War is at the beginning of the Great Tribulation, and the Battle of Armageddon is at the end of the Great Tribulation when the Seventh angel says, "IT IS DONE."
