Just a few thoughts on this Ukraine, Russia, West war...And added a few short snips of other news - wars and rumors of wars are getting harder and harder to keep up with. Things are moving so quickly....Ukraine vs Russia:This is a proxy war.Putin is correct in saying that this is a war between the West (particularly Washington and London) and Russia.In Putin's latest speech to the Russian people - he wasn't threatening to use nukes on Ukraine - he was threatening to use nukes on the West - if the West pushed Russia 'into a corner'. The Russian media was quick to point this out and 'better explain' the message from Putin after the news media of western countries started reporting that Putin was going to use tactical nukes on Ukraine.Russia has threatened any country that militarily helps Ukraine. Washington/The U.S., London/the U.K.., Poland, Estonia, etc. have been called out by Russia. They are potential targets.Recently, news has come out of Iran helping Russia. Ukraine has approached Israel for intel on Iran's involvement. "The Ukrainian government asked Israel to share intelligence on "any support" Iran is giving to Russia..." Kamikaze drones have been attacking Ukrainian military positions and Ukraine believes that these are "repainted Iranian Shahed-136 drones." Ukraine says that Israel has given them some intelligence, but they want much more. (Meanwhile, Iran is in a mess with violent protests against the Supreme Leader there.)And there are reports of Chinese equipment and possibly Chinese military in Ukraine helping Russia. (meanwhile, rumors of a Chinese coup against Xi.)"While initially hesitant about fully taking sides in the war, in recent months Israel has deepened its cooperation with Ukraine, drawing the Kremlin's ire." (Remember, Russia stands between Iran and Israel in Syria - keeping Iran reined in...for now.)Then, "Hebrew media revealed that an Israeli defense contractor is supplying anti-drone systems to Ukraine's military by way of Poland, in order to circumvent Israel's official stance of not selling advanced arms to Kiev. According to the report by Zman Yisrael, the defense company reported to the Defense Ministry that the sale was made to Poland, claiming it was not aware of the fact that Warsaw was acting as an intermediary to transfer the weapons to Ukraine."
Ukraine wants Israeli intel to verify Iranian support for Russiahttps://thecradle.co/Article/News/15987This adds Israel to the list of countries on Russia's "target" list.Other news:Estonia has placed their armed forces on high alert...reservists are being called up.Russia is preparing over 1 million reservists to be called up for military involvement in and outside of Ukraine. Announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Russia had previously announced the call up of 300,000 reservists. Recruiting offices were opened in Serbia, and across the rest of Russia. The Baltic fleet is on alert and Iskander Ballistic Systems have been activated.Poland is distributing iodine pills in fears that the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine might have a melt down resulting in a nuclear disaster.Looks like Russia is set to annex the four occupied Ukrainian oblasts on September 30. Putin would, of course, make an announcement. This formal annexation may well trigger an even larger war. Putin is watching the 'fairness' of these elections - threatening military intervention if the elections are interfered with. Voting started Sept 23 to go through Sept 27.Putin "replaced" the head of military logistics/deputy minister of defense with Colonel Mikhail Mizinchev - he will be responsible for the logistical supply of all of the armed forces now. Putin is getting his commanders positioned as he needs for the expansion of the war.IF the West decides to use nukes against Russia, countries that are part of the NATO nuclear deterrence program - like Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy - the use of these nukes would be under orders from the US president - he makes the decision to use US nuclear bombs located in those countries. (And since the US president is often times incapable of exiting from a stage, I am concerned as to who would make that call...)Armenia and Azerbaijan are close to a war status now. Along with Turkey vs Greece.Erdogan has postponed elections indefinitely. Turkey is looking at a massive call up for war with Greece.The wars and rumors of wars are getting harder and harder to keep up with! Things can change in a heartbeat! Did China just have a coup?
