WHEN THE NEW TESTAMENT BEGAN........
The New Testament of Jesus Christ BEGAN at the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. During the Last Supper, the NIGHT BEFORE He was crucified Jesus made the following quote:
Matthew 26:28
"For this is My blood OF THE NEW TESTAMENT which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
The New Testament of Jesus Christ, which is the Covenant of Grace, for the forgiveness of the sins of man BEGAN WHEN He shed His blood on the cross at His crucifixion according to His own words. The only apostle to us Gentiles of the New Testament of grace of Jesus Christ is the Apostle Paul. The gospel of grace begins with Romans.
THE TWO QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR US GENTILES TO ENTER INTO HEAVEN:
THE QUESTION ?
Romans 10:6
"Who shall ascend into heaven ?"
THE ANSWER:
Romans 10:9-10
"That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead , THOU SHALL BE SAVED. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness , and with the mouth confession is made UNTO SALVATION ."
SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:
There is absolutely nothing more whatsoever required of us for our salvation. If anyone should add anything more to those two Scriptural requirements for our salvation it is an insult to the completeness and perfection of the blood sacrifice which Jesus Christ made on the cross for the atonement of the sins of man.
According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus !
