I am so grateful to have books on hand that are very Christian.

I have a set of books that explain all the chapters of the Bible in detail by Matthew Henry.

I have biographies of saints and martyrs and other books on various religious topics. They are like priceless gold to me.

"Come buy of Me gold tried in the fire". Rev 3 :18

They are priceless because they are not dependent on technology to keep my mind on the things of God. They are the simplest tools of information since the dawn of history.

When the lights go out---and we all sense that is coming---these tools will be our best friends ( as well as battery flashlights).

There will be a time, of course, like the movie

 "Fahrenheit 451" when there will be

the burning of all Christian literature.

In which case we will have the word of God stored in our hearts through memorization. Thanks be to God.
