The Night Before the Day of the Lord?
This letter seeks to highlight the importance of the upcoming (2016) season of Jewish (autumn/fall) feasts (spring feasts in Australia). There are many reasons to believe that the shift into the Jewish year 5777, from Rosh Hashanah, makes the imminent Rapture even more imminent!! Apart from the acceleration of many signs, we know that 7 June 2017 marks 50 years since the day Jerusalem came under Israel’s sovereignty and 14/15 May 2018 will mark 70 years since Israel’s miraculous birth as a nation!!
12 Hours in the Day of the Lord
In two letters earlier this year (links below) I shared some updated thoughts about my view that there may be 12 hours (years) in the Day of the Lord, and that this Day of the Lord is fast approaching: Suddenly - Floods and Fires of Revival (31 January 2016) and 12 Hours in the (Fast Approaching) Day of the Lord (16 January 2016).

My thoughts on the Day of the Lord arose from Jesus’ question in John 11:9 Are there not 12 hours in the day? In creation night comes before day, so I looked back at the most likely starting point - Rosh Hashanah 2001 (18 September 2001), one week after the collapse of the Twin Towers. Jumping forward 12 prophetic/lunar years (360 days) brings you to 17 July 2013 - just one day after the 9th of Av in 2013.
Timeline from the Earthquake/Tsunami of 26 December 2004
In recent musing on the (unusually late) timing of the Feasts of the Lord in 2016, I examined another starting point and timeline for the 12 hours of night before the Day of the Lord. The Indonesian earthquake/tsunami occurred on 26 December 2004, at around 11.58/11.59 Australian time – a marker in time. What I found interesting is that:
there are 12 prophetic (360 day) years between 26 December 2004 and 24 October 2016 – the eighth day of Tabernacles.
Could 24 October 2016, the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, signal the transition into the Day of the Lord - light for Christians and transition to darkness for the world. Could there be three days of darkness, in particular, in this transition. From an Australian perspective, the Indonesian earthquake took place just before noon - 12 years later could well signal the midnight hour!! In John 7 (see below) Jesus stood and cried out about the Coming of the Spirit. This Tabernacles may point to the imminent outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon ALL FLESH!!
John 7:37-39: On the last day, that great day of the feast (of Tabernacles), Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

It is worth reflecting on the timing of the timing of the forthcoming feasts, set out briefly below (many Doves know far more than I about these feasts!!)’ The feasts start the night before the dates listed:
Rosh Hashanah: ¾ October
Yom Kippur 12 October
Sukkkot (Tabernacles) 17 October
Shemini Atzeret (8th day of Tabernacles) 24 October
Simchat Torah 25 October
Shemini Atzeret is a time of unbridled joy!! Simchat Torah marks the conclusion and restart of the annual Torah reading. There is a reference to receiving Aliyah – this can refer to immigration to Israel but also refer to the honour of being called to read from the Torah.
It is also worth noting that 11 November 2016 is around 39-40 days after Rosh Hashanah. Some of us Doves have been drawn to the 11.11 phenomenon, and in two years this date will mark 100 years from the 1918 Armistice – a time for the false prince to rise to prominence as a world peace bringer? These feasts in 2016 may be associated with even greater shakings: economic, political, weather and earthquakes/tsunamis, especially if the United Nations moves on dividing the land of Israel and Jerusalem! A time to watch expectantly for His Return!!
