I wondered what the churches in DC portray about Christ on their buildings, so looked through pictures of them.  I couldn't find one that put out anything relating to Christ!  Not one cross even.  The Presbyterians have a lovely Asherah pole though.

As an aside, you spoke of David Smith of the Church of God Evangelistic in Waxahachie.  My mom went to that church for many years (near 20) but it has recently imploded.  One member said she saw the pastor walk in with a bunch of demons recently.  They only have a few members left and those only out of loyalty.  Your posts helped me to understand what was wrong there.  I more instinctively disliked the place.  

Thanks so much for all the info on the rapture and the bride.  I keep updating the page with your new posts on the subject.  Not sure if anyone reads it.  I send it out to people every so often.
