It's exactly as our Bible tells us........ "The root of all evil, is money" We are not really dealing with religious differences - striving against inequality - fighting for animal rights - women's rights etc., etc. These are all diversions. As are the terrorists. Our new fear - a new diversion.
 
John B. your post re the CATHOLIC CHURCH. Another money making corporation. Siphoning off the poor - keeping them subjugated via spiritual blackmail rather than financial. It is totally sickening.

I am so sad. I feel like howling at the moon - begging for relief from all this awfulness. I used to feel smug - thanking God that we live in the 1st world - where people are "civilised, advanced, enlightened". It turns out that we have been living off the fat of the land at everyone else's expense. I am so ashamed. All illusions have been stripped away. My parents were youngsters during the 2nd World War. They were SO proud that we (the GOOD guys) had triumphed over evil. It turns out, now, that we, the bloody Anglo Americans (Britain and USA) are the thugs!!!! I am devastated. It's like finding out that your favourite uncle was a murderer or paedophile.
