The Scrolls are Opened

The last day of the Feast of Tabernacles is the only time of year on which the Torah scrolls are taken out of the Ark and read at night. When the ark is opened, all the worshippers leave their seats to dance and sing with all the Torah scrolls in a joyous celebration that often lasts for several hours and more.

The ark being opened refers both to Noah's "Ark" as well as the Ark of the Covenant being opened on that day. An angel asks in Revelation 5:2, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” Jesus is worthy to open the scrolls taken out of the Ark on the last day of Tabernacles and begin the Tribulation, and Revelation 6, with the seals opening. The next 2 years will be the seal judgments (see Revelation 6), the final year will be the trumpet judgments (see Revelation 8-9) and the end of the 7th year will be the bowl judgments (see Revelation 16). Over the next 2 years (from Oct 2012 to Sept 2014), 1/4 of the world will die (4th seal – Revelation 6:8b - they were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth). The final year (from Sept 2014 to Sept 2015) will be when the earth begins to rotate faster and the days are shortened to 16 hours, aliens attack, and 1/3 of the people are killed by the demonic aliens. Revelation 9:15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind.
