I wanted to thank David Daughtrey for re-posting his vision from 1996.

Of all the dreams and visions that have been posted over the years here at 5Doves and other such sites, David's is one that really seems to stand out and rings true to me.  Furthermore, as a watchman, David has been very conservative about drawing attention to his vision.  He has not been "a clanging bell" that rings at every night dream, gematria,  planetary alignment, rapture date, et al.  He does not seem to have the inwardly driven motivation to be personally recognized as a watchman.  To me, this strengthens his position as a true and humble watchman for the Lord.


A couple of things occur to me about this vision.  This is just food for thought...

First, the spherical space object that he sketched for us:  David tells us that he clearly saw that it appeared to have rivets; that it appeared to be something that was not natural like an asteroid, but rather assembled by someone or something.  I think that this bit of detail is not meant to slip past us.  That it is a big part of the meaning of the vision: that in fact this object or device has indeed been manufactured for a purpose and to an effect.

It is important to remember that in times of deepening crisis and ever-looming despair, the minds of men become ripe for the picking.  People yearn for a galvanizing force to return them to their former state of "peace and security."   Historically, at such times, bold moves are made upon the chessboard of the world; large-scale changes can be made swiftly with little resistance.  Deception and subterfuge has always been the sharpest arrow in the enemy's quiver.  Psychopathic leaders of commerce and government, throughout human history, have "moved mountains" with it.  Our situation is no different today.

In light of David's vision, is it possible that the tumult and chaos we are witnessing in the world today is in fact the preparation which is necessary for something "outside" of our present earthly experience to become manifest?  Something that might explain, restore, and re-unite the people of the world...


The second thing I wanted to mention about the vision is less compelling on the surface, but I find it interesting nonetheless:

The "blue 21" portion of the vision has always been interesting to a lot of us.  In my mind, it has been relegated as a possible "touch stone" or time marker that we may recognize at the appropriate time.  While this is merely speculation, I'm sure others of you have considered that the up-coming UN General Assembly meeting to discuss the recognition of Palestine as a sovereign state around September 20 or 21 is of interest.  This is also 10 days after the September 11, 2001 ten year memorial observance...  the day the world changed... the day that "mountains moved..."  It brought to mind the verse in Revelation about the 10 days...  the meaning of which has always contained a kind of mystery for me:

‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: ⁹ “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. ¹⁰ Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.


September 20/21, 2011, is also ten days before the commencement of the High Holy Days of the Jewish New Year.  Will there be "signs and wonders in the heavens" to herald the transition?  Elenin?  Niburu?  Angelic manifestation?  Dividing Israel?  David Daughtrey's vision???

It has been said that, in general, people who try to live good and moral lives have a natural blind spot to psychopathic evil.  Let the Lord's own words give us comfort, peace, wisdom and insight as we move through these perplexing times.  Though He spoke often in parables that were geared to the simple people of his day, this particular passage, to me, reads like a cypher encoded for our time...  where temptation and deception are the very fabric of our reality.   YBIC... Jesus the True Shepherd
