This is a huge confirmation from Almighty God regarding this current war against Gaza. In my post to Gino today, I brought up the disobedience of King Saul recorded in 1 Samuel 15. I have linked this again (2nd link below) as this is vital to our understanding. The opera has been cancelled because of the war against Gaza. The Biblical drama is way too close to the bone of current day events. Remember - what has been before will be again. There is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9. This news is a massive confirmation from God that we are witnessing a repeat of history. Quite incredible, actually. That this very opera and story of Saul is in the news, at this moment in time, is no coincidence. Thank you, Almighty God.

1 Samuel 15 NIV - The LORD Rejects Saul as King - Samuel - Bible Gateway

King Saul was instructed to destroy EVERYTHING. He did not obey. His excuse for keeping the best sheep and cattle alive was because he claimed they were for sacrifice to the LORD. This is Samuel's reply to Saul. Given to Samuel from the LORD God. 1 Samuel 15: 22-23:-

" Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice and to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king".

We must take heed of this story as Almighty God does not change. He requires complete obedience.
