"THE COVENANT WITH MANY"


THE SCRIPTURAL TRUTH ABOUT "THE COVENANT WITH MANY"...............


GOD MADE HIS "COVENANT WITH MANY" WITH ABRAHAM AND ABRAHAM'S  MANY DESCENDANTS :

Genesis 17:2-10 

"I will make MY COVENANT between Me and thee, and I WILL MULTIPLY THEE EXCEEDINGLY . And Abram fell on his face , and God talked with him saying, "As for Me , behold,  MY COVENANT IS WITH THEE , and thou shall be the father OF MANY NATIONS. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram , but thy name shall be ABRAHAM, for a father OF MANY NATIONS have I made thee. And I will make thee EXCEEDINGLY FRUITFUL , and I will make MANY NATIONS of thee. I will establish MY COVENANT between Me and thee , and THY SEED AFTER THEE in their generations TO BE AN EVERLASTING COVENANT to be your God unto thee , and TO THY MANY SEED  after thee IN THEIR GENERATIONS." 

GOD SENDS JESUS TO CONFIRM HIS "COVENANT WITH MANY" TO ABRAHAM'S MANY DESCENDANTS :

Daniel 9:27  

"And He ( Jesus ) shall CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH MANY FOR ONE WEEK , and IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK ( at the 3 1/2 year point of Daniel's Seventieth Week )  He ( Jesus ) shall cause the sacrifice, and the oblation to cease ( to cease being accepted by God for the atonement of sins because AFTER Jesus shed His own blood on the cross, "in the midst of the seventieth week" , God then NO LONGER ACCEPTED any other form of sacrifice and oblation for the atonement of sins forevermore.) 

THE APOSTLE PAUL DESCRIBES THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST TO CONFIRM "THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT WITH MANY" :

Romans 15:8

"Now I say that Jesus Christ was A MINISTER of the circumcision for the Truth of God  TO CONFIRM THE COVENANT PROMISES MADE to the fathers." ( Abraham, Issac, & Jacob )

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT ;

In ( Daniel 9:27 ) the pronoun "He" is speaking of Jesus Christ being sent by God  "TO CONFIRM THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT WITH MANY" spoken of previously in ( Genesis 17:2-10 ) . Jesus was sent, by God,  as the Messiah TO CONFIRM THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT WITH MANY which God had made TWO THOUSAND YEARS EARLIER. In the midst of the Seventieth Week of Daniel Jesus was crucified after 3 1/2 years into His ministry which was to "CONFIRM THE  ABRAHAMIC COVENANT WITH MANY ".
