"WE HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED OUR SALVATION"


WE HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED OUR SALVATION; IT IS STILL FUTURE...........


We, who are now SEALED  by the Holy Spirit, because of our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ are now SANCTIFIED ( ie. set apart ) to receive our SALVATION on the future coming "DAY OF SALVATION". 

For us to receive OUR SALVATION there is a three-step process outlined in the Scriptures of our being #1 SEALED , and #2 SANCTIFIED,  before #3 SALVATION  as follows  : 

(#1) WHEN  we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior,  we are THEN  SEALED  by the Holy Spirit according to : 

Ephesians 1:13

"Christ, in whom you also trusted after you heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom you also after that you believed, YOU WERE SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE ( ie. the promise of your future salvation ). "

Ephesians 4:30

"The Holy Spirit of God, whereby YOU ARE SEALED until THE DAY OF REDEMPTION (ie. SALVATION )." ( The redemption of our bodies happens on the "Day of Salvation" which is also the Day of the resurrection /rapture ).


(#2) AFTER we are sealed by the Holy Spirit we are then SANCTIFIED, ie. set-apart, from the rest of mankind with the promise of our future salvation on the Day of Salvation which is the resurrection/rapture according to :

Romans 15:16

"...that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable , BEING SANCTIFIED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT."

1 Corinthians 6:11

"...but you are washed,  BUT YOU ARE SANCTIFIED, but you are justified in  the name of the Lord Jesus  , and by the Spirit of our God."


(#3) Because we are SEALED by the Holy Spirit,  and thereby  SANCTIFIED with the promise of our future SALVATION on the Day of Salvation ( ie. the Day of Redemption ) WE WILL RECEIVE OUR SALVATION on  the Day of the resurrection / rapture of the Body of Christ Church according to :

2 Corinthians 6:2

"For He ( Jesus ) said , I have heard thee  in a time accepted, and  IN THE DAY OF SALVATION   have I secured thee..."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

WE WILL RECEIVE OUR FUTURE SALVATION  on the Day of Salvation, ie, the Day of Redemption,  which is also the Day of the resurrection/rapture because we have been previously SEALED and SANCTIFIED to receive the promise of our  SALVATION ON THAT DAY .
