"Can there be a FIRST RESURRECTION before the FIRST RESURRECTION? (Isa_34:8 says, "For it is the day (Tishri 1, 5776) of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences (5776) for the controversy of Zion.")"

Hi:

> > Can there be a FIRST resurrection before the FIRST resurrection?

Yes. As I understand it, there are several ranks in the First Resurrection. Christ and those that came out of their graves after his resurrection. Then the two Raptures, one after Satan and his fallen angels are cast out of Heaven at Mid-Trib, the other on the Day of God's Wrath.

1Co 15:22,23 says, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order (tagmati, rank, a series or progression): Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming (parousia, being near, presence)."

FIRST RANK, Nisan 16, 3790, Sunday, April 9, 30 AD (Julian)
It looks like the Second Advent will be on the first day of the Jubilee, Sacred and Regnal years, Nisan 1, 5776, April 9, 2016.

1Co_15:20  "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."

1. Christ was resurrected, then ascended on the 40th day. At the time of the Resurrection, some of the dead came out of their graves and were seen in Jerusalem. Christ took the contents of the compartment in the Earth called Paradise to Heaven.

Luk_23:43  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Paradise was in the third heaven when Paul was caught up to it.

2Co 12:2-4 says, "I knew a man in Christ (Paul himself, he didn't want to boast) above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven (1. Mars, 2. Jupiter, and 3. Saturn). 3  And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4  How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter".

Eze 1:1  Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Eze 1:26-28 says, "And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (i.e., the only God/man is Jesus) above upon it. 27  And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins (i.e., from the equator) even upward, and from the appearance of his loins (from the equator) even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about (Saturn's rings). 28  As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD."

Rev_2:7  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

SECOND RANK

Jas_1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."

2. Here is I Thess 4:16,17. It is the First-Trump Rapture. There are two stages to it. The dead get their resurrection bodies first, then the living saints are caught up together with them in the clouds. These become incorruptible, but not yet immortal.

1Th 4:13-18 says, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (i.e., the dead in Christ), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (Old English for precede) them which are asleep. 16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Rev 4:1 says, "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither".

THIRD RANK

3. Here is I Cor 15:51-54. It is the Last-Trump Rapture, and takes place on the Day of God's Wrath, just before the sword of the Lord, an asteroid named Wormwood, hits Earth.

1Co 15:51-54 says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we (including Paul) shall be changed. 53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."

Rev 6:17 "For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Rev 7:9 "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands"

Rev 14:1-4 says, "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."

Dan 12:1 says, "And at that time (i.e., when the False Prophet will be deposed, 11:45) shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time (Day of the Lord, Day of God's Wrath) thy people (i.e., the 144,000 Israelites) shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

Jer_30:7 says, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."

Isa_34:8 says, "For it is the day (Tishri 1, 5776) of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences (5776) for the controversy of Zion."

Zep_2:2,3 says, "Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be HID in the day of the LORD'S anger."

Jer_46:10 says, "For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword (sword of the Lord, the asteroid Wormwood, Rev 8:11) shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates."

Act_2:20 says, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come".

This Solar eclipse will come on Sept 13, 2015, the Eve of Trumpets, before the Day of the Lord comes on Tishri 1, 5776, Sept 14, 2015.

The Last-Trump Rapture will come on that Feast of Trumpets.
From the Six-Day War in 1967 + 1 generation (48.33 years, Mt 1:17) = the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 14, 2015.

Joe_2:1 says, "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand".

Rev 6:12-17 says, "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17  For the great day of his wrath (i.e., the Day of the Lord) is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Rev 18:21 says, "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."

2Pe_3:10 says, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

Rev 7:14 "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

Isa 34:1-10 says, "Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. 2  For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. 3  Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. 4  And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. 5  For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea (i.e., Petra, where those will be caught up in the Last-Trump Rapture just in time), and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. 6  The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. 7  And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. 8  For it is the DAY (Tishri 1, 5776) of the LORD'S vengeance, and the YEAR (5776) of recompences for the controversy of Zion. 9  And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. 10  It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever."

"Idumea," by Wayne Blank

"The region is known in various translations of The Bible as Idumea (Isaiah 34:5-6, Ezekiel 35:15), "the field of Edom" (Genesis 32:3), "the land of Edom" (Genesis 36:16). Also, because it is, in part, mountainous, it was also known as "the mountains of Esau" or "the mountain of Seir" (Obadiah 1:8,9,19,21). The southern part of Edom was known as Teman.

"Sela, more popularly known by the Greek name Petra, is within Edom (2 Kings 14:7)."

Gen 32:3 says, "And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom."

Subject: Fwd: Can there be a FIRST RESURRECTION before the FIRST RESURRECTION?

Shalom Marilyn,

John seems reluctant to post this ... even though it is mostly just scripture.

Please let the Word just speak.

May the Lord be ever more your Strength and Shield and exceeding great Reward!

Subject: Can there be a FIRST RESURRECTION before the FIRST RESURRECTION?

Doesn't the Bible seem to clearly enough contrast and compare JUST TWO BIG SITUATIONS / JUST TWO BIG EVENTS ... ahead?

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2  And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, (A) some to everlasting life, and (B) some to shame and everlasting contempt. (Daniel 12)

15  And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the (A) just and (B) unjust. (Acts 24)

28  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29  And shall come forth; (A) they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and (B) they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5)

And finally, we are clearly enough taught that THESE TWO BIG EVENTS are (a little over) 1000 years apart ...

4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; (A) and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 (B) But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. (A)This is the first resurrection.
(A) Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20)

Please NOTE:

THIS BLESSED AND HOLY FIRST RESURRECTION EXPLICITLY INCLUDES
... and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands. (Revelation 20:4)

Now ... we are also plainly enough taught that this next BIG HOLY BLESSED EVENT, THE FIRST RESURRECTION, will precede the rapture:

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (come before) them which are asleep. (1 Thessalonians)

51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15)

Can there be a FIRST resurrection before the FIRST resurrection?

Now, in light of the above scriptures, what must take place FIRSTLY, before the rapture?

1.

- And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Daniel 12:1)

- and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands. (Revelation 20:4)

2.

- And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life (Daniel 12:2)

- a resurrection of the dead, both of thejust (Acts 24:15)

- they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life (John 5:29)

- and they lived (Revelation 20:4)

Then, and only then ....

- we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord  ... we shall be changed (1 Thessalonians 15; 1 Corinthians 15)

Can there really be a FIRST resurrection before the FIRST resurrection? (so that the rapture can come AFTER the dead IN Christ are raised FIRST?
