"to Julia re: Obama ring hoax and 3rd party vote"

Obama's ring is not relevant.....his belief system is more than evident...to making the result of this election extremely telling. Has God finally had enough witness of evil to execute His wrath? Or will His mercy allow a period of revival so more may be saved? We are still 'occupying' and it is not an inactive sport. Neither is 'waiting'.

We all know that time is short but whether we have a week or a year left to live among the tares, we are to be fruitful...to include the advancement of conditions, wherever we can; however we can, which may be beneficial to those left-behind....beneficent to the young who attained the age of reason, beneficent to Israel, beneficent to the dying who are in desperate need of hearing the Word.

Therefore......

Please tell me which state's electoral votes you expect your 3rd party candidate to receive. Because of the way our presidential election system was established, ONLY Obama or Romney will get the  ELECTORAL votes of each state. Within each of the states, do you really expect your 3rd party candidate to receive the MAJORITY of the electoral or popular vote? Countrywide, whoever gets 270 or more electoral votes will be the next president. Will your vote help or hurt the result? Are you a spoiler? If you decide not to vote at all, the result is the same. Take care. You are accountable. Your decision may have eternal consequences.

Do some research that's not media-dependent.    http://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/about.html

".....when you vote for your candidate you are actually voting for your candidate’s electors. ...Most states have a “winner-take-all” system that awards all electors to the winning presidential candidate.

On Election Day, the voters in each State choose the Electors by casting votes for the presidential candidate of their choice. ...The winning candidate in each State—except in Nebraska and Maine, which have proportional distribution of the Electorsis awarded all of the State’s Electors.

Are there restrictions on who the Electors can vote for?

There is no Constitutional provision or Federal law that requires Electors to vote according to the results of the popular vote in their States. Some States, however, require Electors to cast their votes according to the popular vote. These pledges fall into two categories—Electors bound by State law and those bound by pledges to political parties."

I don't know who owns Snopes, but it just looks like a bunch of swirls to me. I don't like him either, but I want to keep a clear head because we all know it's hard to tell fact from fiction in the media these days.

I'm voting 3rd party. :)
