Reply to Gino re "Gigantic Babies"
Per Genesis 6:4, a Jewish scholar points out that the scripture says the giants were already here when the "sons of God" came:"There were giants in the Earth in those days; and also after that, (this means the giants were here already) when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."So the idea that the "sons of God" were giants is a faulty premise for numerous reasons, some of which I will elaborate on below.1) Per Psalms and Hebrews 1:5 God never called angels His sons:"For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to Me a Son?"God never called angels His sons and never will. That's because salvation is only for mankind who are descendants of Adam and Eve who sinned. Good angels don't need saving and bad ones (fallen angels) can't be saved. How do we know? God didn't "spare" them or show them mercy (salvation). They are in hell and won't get out until Judgment Day which is at the very end of time:a) "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; . . " - 2 Peter 2:4
b) "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." - Jude 1:62) The Bible says in John 1:12: "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:" Ask yourself, "received Him" for what? The answer is - for salvation. Remember, the fallen angels can't be saved.3) The fallen angels were cast down between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 along with Satan which is why the Earth was destroyed as evidenced in Genesis 1:2, "And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."If God had just created everything, then the Earth would not have been "without form and void." God told Dr. Richard Eby, during one of his 'life after death experiences,' that -- when Satan was cast down fast like lightning with the fallen angels -- he and his fallen angels went about destroying everything in a "hissy fit." That's why God punished the fallen angels by casting them down to Hell. Satan's day of judgment is coming.I am of the opinion that the giants have extra-terrestrial origins as some of them still live in caves in the Solomon Islands to this day where UFOs are frequently seen entering and exiting. Consequently, they would have plenty of opportunity to mate with their own kind who live on other planets by use of those UFOs for travelling through outerspace to wherever they came from.It makes more sense that the "sons of God" were the righteous sons of Adam and Eve, some of whom disobeyed their father's command not to go down the mountain they lived on into the valley below where unrighteous Cain's descendants were. After Adam and Eve died only Methuselah, Lamech and Noah remained on the Holy Mountain; Enoch kept the commandments of his father, Jared and was eventually transported by God to Paradise. The sons of Seth and Jared had rejected the advice of Enoch and were lured down the mountain by the music and beautiful women and ended up intermarrying with them; hence their offspring being distinguished as children of "reknown," famous for their association to Adam's remaining righteous sons. It makes a lot more sense and doesn't defy scripture.Credits: This story was translated from the original tongues; parts come from the Talmud and played a vital role in the original literature of human wisdom. RE: Fay & Donna: 10.27.24: gigantic babies
Thank you both for your responses.Yes, that is such a frightening thought, that those woman would have suffered like that!Did that horrible practice continue all the way up until the day that Noah entered the ark?If their mothers died when they were born, then were those newborn giants raised at all by the fallen angels?Or did those fallen angels simply spawn them, and leave those newborn giants to grow and fend for themselves? If so, they could have grown to be very terrible beings, full of rebellion, hatred, and violence.
