Hello Gino and Doves,We are definitely dealing with angelic beings. Fallen angels. We were told we did not fight against flesh and blood.Thank you, Gino, for your letter last week and for linking your letter from last year about the 'chief prince of Meshech and Tubal" into that letter.Letter from last week:
RE: Chance: 11.12.23: Will the antichrist be the islamic mahdi? & Turkey connectionLetter from 2022:
who is he?
The Bible speaks of other chief princes as Gino notes - the chief princes we know of are Michael (the protector of Israel - he watches over Daniel's people - Daniel 12:1), there is a chief prince of the kingdom of Persia and a chief prince of Grecia. These are angelic beings. The fallen angelic beings are of Persia and Grecia.
RE: Chance: 11.12.23: Will the antichrist be the islamic mahdi? & Turkey connection
Gog is the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Ezekiel 38:9 So Gog must be an angelic being also.Different areas/countries (from ancient times) have 'protectors' assigned to them. Israel's is Michael. In Ezekiel 38, God executes judgment upon Gog - 'plague and bloodshed'. 'Torrents of rain, hailstones, fire and sulfur'. On him and the troops he brings with him. In Ezekiel 39, God says he will give a burial place to Gog in Israel - it will be known as the Valley of Hamon-gog.In the Revelation - there is an 'angel of the Abyss' - Abaddon (Hebrew: meaning "destruction", "doom")/Apollyon (Greek: meaning "Destroyer"). He's a king - from the bottomless pit. He's a king of an army of locusts. Abaddon is also mentioned in Job 26, 28 and 31 and Proverbs 15 and 27. So he's a pretty important bad angel.European literature of the Middle Ages (like "The Song of Roland", "The Canterbury Tales", "Mardi") refers to an entity called 'Termagant' who was considered the chief Muslim god.
"European Christians believed Muslims worshiped Termagant. In "The Song of Roland" (11th century) there is reference to an "unholy Trinity" in Islam made up of Muhammad, Apollyon and Termagant. Muhammad was not a god or a fallen angel - but Apollyon is a fallen angel. Maybe Termagant is too.
TERMAGAUNT
And the sixth trumpet blast, from the sixth angel - released four more angels that have been bound 'at the great Euphrates River.' These will be released and will kill one-third of the people on Earth. We've got fallen angels to deal with on Earth! And Gino wrote about Pergamos - one of the Seven Churches of Turkey - where Satan's seat is. Will Gog arise from Pergamos? Will the Antichrist arise from Pergamos? From Turkey? Also, in Daniel 9:26 we are told about "the people of the prince who is come will destroy the city and the sanctuary." I came across a definition of Apollyon - that he is "the Destroyer of Jerusalem.""At the start of the Jewish War, Titus was the general of the Fifteenth Legion. With Apollo (the Roman god, the son of Zeus) as its patron, the Fifteenth Legion was suitably nicknames Apollinaris, a name meaning "devoted to Apollo". The Fifteenth Legion would always carry an emblem of Apollo or one of his holy animals wherever it went. Not surprisingly, the locust was one of Apollo's holy animals."Apollo is the Greek god of death and plague/pestilence."Apollinaris was the name of the XV (15th) Roman legion, one of the four that destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem on Tisha B'Av in 70 C.E."
revelation - Who is Apollyon in Greek Culture? - Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange
So 'the prince who was to come and destroy Jerusalem and the sanctuary" was Apollyon - leading the 15th Legion of Rome. Apollyon - the Destroyer of Jerusalem. ? The 'prince' is not Titus or a human being then.Maybe the Greek/Roman gods are the fallen angels. I've thought about this for several years. It sure looks like Apollo and Apollyon are 'the same'.So we have fallen angels leading armies/empires...evil entities that have been around for ages.Gino wrote about Gog as "apparently a fallen celestial prince, who possesses a human leader". Ezekiel 39:11 tells us that Gog is given a burial place..."Gog and all his hordes will be buried there." So it sounds like Gog has a human body. (Or maybe Gog is a fallen angel - and like those 'who are bound at the great river Euphrates' - he'll be 'buried' in Hamon-gog.) ?
And in Revelation 20:8 we see Gog and Magog again - when the 1,000 years are over, satan will be released from his prison and deceives the nations - Gog and Magog. He will gather them together for battle. He'll march against Jerusalem. God will destroy them with fire from Heaven. So here, we see Gog and Magog again - are these names generic titles now to show how they compare to the Ezekiel Gog and Magog War? Gog was buried - he can't come back or can he?In the Revelation, the Seven Churches are in Turkey - and as Gino pointed out, the whole area is under the false god allah. Will the Antichrist rise from Turkey? Will Gog be someone from Turkey? Definitely need to keep an eye on Turkey.Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!Maranatha!Chance
