THE THIRD PROMISE OF THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT WITH MANY  WAS CONFIRMED BY JESUS........

The ministry of Jesus Christ was "TO CONFIRM", or fulfill, or complete  THE THIRD PROMISE of the Abrahamic Covenant with many  by His parousia or first presence, which He did according to :

Romans 15:8

"Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, TO CONFIRM THE COVENANT PROMISES made unto the fathers."

 

The Abrahamic Covenant with many contained THREE promises from God to Abraham : 

The FIRST promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many was for God to make a great Nation from the many descendents of Abraham,  which He did : God made the Nation of Israel from Abraham's many descendents as His CONFIRMATION of His first promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many. 

The SECOND promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many was for God  to give the Nation of Israel a homeland of their own, which He did : God gave the land of Cannan to the Nation of Israel ,which was the "Promised Land", as His CONFIRMATION  of the second promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many. 

The THIRD  promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many was for God to send the Nation of Israel a Messiah or Savior ,  which He did : God sent Jesus Christ to the Nation of Israel as His CONFIRMATION of the third promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many.

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT:

The PROPHECY of Daniel 9:27  was CONFIRMED , as promised, by the EVENT of Romans 15:8 according to :

Daniel 9:27 ( the prophecy of the confirmation of the third promise of the Abrahamic Covenant with many )

"And he shall CONFIRM THE COVENANT WITH MANY......."
