If Trump pulls an upset, the laugh will be on the news media for again missing the story by failing to report it. The failure of the press in 1948 – and Truman’s glee at seeing his nemesis so humiliated – is still taught in journalism school. But this lesson was missed in 2016 when almost all the media coronated Hillary Clinton long before the votes were in.

So, what happened in 1948 in regards to President Harry S. Truman and Israel?

President Truman backed Israel as a nation.  Subsequent to this, he was “dismissed by the press in 1948” as a goner.

President Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Subsequent to this, he has been dismissed by the press to be a ‘goner.’

And, look at the recent events by Trump in regards to peach treaty’s and Israel, UAE, Sudan, Bahrain and more.  He says there are many more lined up to do so.
