Is Isaiah 2 speaking of the same thing as Revelation 6?
Isaiah 2:10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
In Revelation 6, the LORD shakes the earth, and they also hide in the holes of the rocks:
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Also, I've always been taught that everything that in Revelation chapters 7 through 18, all happen after chapter 6 is completed. In other words, that the 7 trumpets must all come after the 7 seals are done, and that the 7 vials must all come after the 7 trumpets are done.If that is the case, then does the heaven remain departed for the remainder of the tribulation?Do people, from this point, all through chapters 7 through 18, see into heaven and the face of him that is sitting on the throne? Also, if chapters 7 - 18 come after this, then how long do the kings of the earth, the great men, rich men, etc. remain in the dens and in the rocks?
