"RE: Doug L: 11.08.20"

Doug,
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
If people wanted Jeremiah dead, for the things he said, I can understand why your words may not as popular as, say, Joel Osteen.
You answer to no one, except Jesus.
If you are convinced that the LORD wants you to write these things each week, then no doubt you can't stop, even if you wanted to.

I John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Perhaps the reason that so many of us are not really purifying ourselves, as he is pure, is that we may not really have this hope in us.
At least, not in a powerful, living, vibrant way of, "in us".
Either never really having it in the first place, or maybe like:

Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
