God has requirements:

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet.... "you have kept my word" and have not denied My name. 

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be (My people) Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 

Since.... "you (in the church) have kept MY COMMAND TO ENDURE patiently," I will also keep you (not all) from the hour of trial (great tribulation) that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. (including THOSE who did not keep His command to endure). (Revelation 3:8-10) 

....."the one" who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22

Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not "worthy" of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not "worthy" of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me (and become My disciple) is not "worthy" of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. (10:37-39)

And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water..... BECAUSE "he is a disciple", truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” (10:42)
