"Christ’s Self-Existent Answer & the Primacy of the Number 97"

Interested Readers -

In John 18:3, Christ and His disciples are in the Garden of Gethsemane in the middle of the night, but they are not alone for very long:

“Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.”

In John 18:4 Christ goes forth to this band of men and asks them, “Whom do you see?”

John 18:5
“They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am (he). And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.”

Due to His answer of “I AM”, this is what happened to them:
John 18:6
“As soon then as he had said unto them, I am (he), they went backward and fell to the ground.

Christ Jesus had made the good confession in power. Those two words, “I” and “AM” have a numerical value of 873.

873 = 97 x 3 x 3

When the Word was first written in Heaven before Adam was created, God decided to use this important number 97 as the basis for this betrayal encounter confession. That was a deliberate choice God made and would seem to indicate that 97 is a kind of primal number, more important than others, imo.

You can verify that verse and it’s numbers here:

Of special note also, you may remember, is that Enoch’s greek name value of 1455 is also based on 97:

1455 = 97 x 5 x 3
