Five Doves website is a real treasure. Would that more of God’s people would search out the many, many letters and commentaries that saints of Godpost. As with anything—there must be a discernment as to what is speculation and what is the result of deep study; which comes through prayer and alwaysgiven with love, leaving behind disagreements. All of us must have one goal in mind: to edify the body of Christ.I want to share with you all a very interesting and beautiful thing I found written in E.W.Bullinger’s study* about one of Daniel’s prophetic revelations:“In Daniel 8:13 we read, “Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake”". How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation”? Here, a revelation of a certain future prophetic event was made to Daniel by a certain saint or holy one, i.e.,a holy angel; and “another” angel asked a question concerning numbers—how long” etc? The name of “that certain saint” is given in the Hebrew, and is placed in the margin of a good study bible with its meaning. His name is PALMONI, and it means “the numberer of secrets, or “the wonderful numberer”.So that there is one holy angel, at least, whose function has to do with numbers. Numbers, therefore, and their secrets, hold an important place in the words as well as in the works of God. “A wonderful numberer” (Palmoni) presides over them, and has his place in making known the things of God”.“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter” (Proverbs 25:2)“The works of the LORD are great: sought out of all them that have pleasure therein” (Psalms 111:2)“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever.” (Deut 29:29)As we on 5 Doves contribute our observations about timings and such, may we prayerful take a look at Daniel’s method of prayer and fastings. Knowledge of future“events would come about as PALMONI is allowed to reveal them to us. Many things were, and are, “shut up”until an appointed time. But being as we arein these last days, we are also to be observers. “when we see these things begin to happen”, etc. Each of us “miss it” at times, and may become discouraged. But do not allow that to happen. Press in, dear saints. People stumbled over cobblestone rocks many centuries before smooth asphalt paving took place. At 85, I’ve only just begun to walk on a bit of it....and a lot of it you laid.MARY E.
