Life
is busy, but about a month ago, my pastor had each of us fill out a 3 x
5 card with three goals, spiritually, physically, and financially.
Afterwards we exchanged our cards with someone else in the congregation
to pray over our goals. I got to thinking about what my spiritual
goals should be, and of course, I could choose from reading the Bible
more, or praying more, or getting to know God more, but just about
everything “spiritually” that I could think of growing in, nothing
seemed to fit. Finally, after a bit of reflection, I decided the best
thing I could ask for is HARVEST, and I wrote it down as my
spiritual goal. Now understand… I have sown a lot of seed
spiritually, and I am not talking in tithes and offerings here. I have
dug deep, and I have planted the Word of God in my life, and I have
watered, and waited and waited… watered some more, and waited and
waited. It seems like I get a sprout here and there, but I am really
wanted that hundredfold return on the Word that I have hidden in my
heart.
I
had not told anyone else what I was asking God for, but the pastor’s
sermons for the next few weeks have been about our personal HARVEST being NOW. I thought I would go ahead and follow up with a study.
The FIRST time that the word HARVEST appears in the KJV Bible is…
Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest,H7105 and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Counting the words in the KJV Bible…
KJV Word # 4994 = Harvest
The first time that Hebrew Strong’s # 4994 appears in the KJV Bible, it is translated NOW in what seems to be an unrelated verse.
Gen 12:11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now,H4994 I know that thou [art] a fair woman to look upon:
Is it possible that God is saying by the structure of the Bible that HARVEST is NOW?

Deut 3:18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel , all [that are] meet for the war.
Here is a verse that is very subtle….

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Rom 8:23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruitsG536 of the Spirit,G4151 even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.
Is “firstfruits” a “harvest” term? I think so… so let’s add the terms together…
firstfruitsG536 of the Spirit,G4151 = 536 + 4151 = 4687
Greek Strong’s # 4687 = Sow, Sown
Now, I don’t know how adding terms together could produce a connected word, but here we have something “Sown”.
4687 Verses from the End (Greek Strong’s # 4687 = Sow, Sown)
John 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed,G4690 and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Again… a connected word… seed to sown.
By phone number an “unrelated” word…
Phone # 4687 = Hour
…. Yet…

Let’s look at how this same number is first used in the Hebrew Strong’s…
2Kgs 25:30 And his allowanceH737 [was] a continual allowanceH737 given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.
You all need to read 2 Kings 25. Jehoiachin, the king of Judah was in prison for 37 years, and the Evil–merodach king of Babylon set him free, changed his prison garments, and provided for him the rest of his days.
Could I suggest to you that when it is YOUR TIME, that the thing in your life that is called “Evil-merodach” will the one that brings provision in your day of harvest?
