Gino, here is some information about the Mid-Trib Rapture to add to your discussion.

2Th 2:1-4 (KJV) says, “Now we beseech you, brethren (i.e., believers), by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

THERE ARE TWO MISTAKES IN THAT PASSAGE IN THE KJV OF 1611

The “day of Christ” should be the “day of the Lord”, and "a falling away first" should be a "departing" first.  The Day of Christ is the day of the First-Trump Rapture. The Day of the Lord is the day of the Last-Trump Rapture and the day of God's Wrath.

Older manuscripts have been found since the KJV was published that say “day of the Lord” instead of "day of Christ".

1. Sinaitic Codex, 331 AD
2. Vatican Codex, 325 - 350 AD
3. Alexandrine Codex, 400 - 440 AD

The Day of Christ is when the First-Trump Rapture of I Thess 4:13-18 takes place.
The Day of the Lord is the when the Last-Trump Rapture of I Cor 15:51-54 takes place.

I now think the First-Trump Rapture will come on the Day of Christ (Mid-Trib), and the Last-Trump Rapture will come on the Day of the Lord just before God's wrath hits Earth at the end of the Great Tribulation.

“DAY OF THE LORD” IN SEVERAL MODERN TRANSLATIONS CORRECTS THIS ERROR IN THE KING JAMES VERSION

In 2Th 2, instead of "day of Christ", the RSV and some other modern translations say, "day of the Lord". This is correct.

2Th 2:1,2 (RSV) says, "Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him, we beg you, brethren, not to be quickly shaken in mind or excited, either by spirit or by word, or by letter purporting to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come."

2Th 2:2 (NLT) says, "Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us."

The NIV says, "not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come."

The ESV says, "not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come."

The HCSV says, "not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has come."

The NASB says, "that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come."

The ASV says, "to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand"

The DBY says, "that ye be not soon shaken in mind, nor troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as if it were by us, as that the day of the Lord is present."

1Th 1:10 (KJV) makes it clear that we are "to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which DELIVERED US FROM THE WRATH TO COME."

To me, that means that all believers will be raptured before God's Wrath hits Earth, either in the First-Trump Rapture of I Thess 4:13-18, at Mid-Trib, or in the Last-Trump Rapture of I Cor 15:51-54 on the Day of God’s Wrath, just before Satan’s asteroid Wormwood hits Earth and obliterates Babylon.

Rev 10:11 says, “And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

That means that the “rise” in Rev 11:1 means the same as the “COME UP HITHER” in Rev 4:1. The second Rapture is in 11:12. The seals, trumpets and vials/bowls are all after the first Rapture.

Rev 11:1-3 says, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, RISE, and measure the temple of God (i.e., we are the temple of the Holy Spirit), and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2  But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Rev 11:12 says, “And they (Moses and Elijah) heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.”

The time between the two come up hithers is 1260 days. Therefore, the First-Trump Rapture is Mid-Trib and the Last-Trump Rapture is on the Day of God’s Wrath at the end of the Tribulation.

Rev 11:13-15 says, “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14  The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

The second mistake in the KJV is in 2Th 2:3. It says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (apostasia, departing, as in a divorce, i.e., being caught up in the First-Trump Rapture) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”.

The way the man of sin is revealed is simple. He wasn’t caught up in the First-Trump Rapture. According to Rev. 12, Satan is cast down from heaven Mid-Trib. He will enter into the False Prophet, the second son of perdition. The first son of perdition was Judas Iscariot.

Rev 17:8 says, “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition”.
