Landing of Philae on Comet 67P and the Rosetta Spacecraft
On Wednesday 12 November 2014 (depending on where you are in the world) the Philea lander/ landing craft landed on Comet 67P (Churyumov-Gerasimenko), following a seven hour descent. A Sydney newspaper (the Daily Telegraph) heralded this achievement with a front page headline: Rock and Awe!! And it is truly a remarkable achievement: the climax of a 6.4 billion kilometre journey, travelling at 66000 kilometres per hour over more than a decade (left Earth on 2 March 2004). The article stated that this would open the door to understanding the origins of Earth.

Philea - the Landing Craft
So does this astronomical event have any significance for those of us looking for His Coming? What is the origin of the name Philae? Philae is named after the Island Philae on the Nile, at the southern most limit of Egypt. The Island is especially famous for the ISIS Temple, and the name Philea, in Greek or Ancient Egyptian, means THE END!! (Excerpt) The ISIS Temple at Philae was nearly lost under water when the high Aswan dam was built in the 1960s. The temple was rescued - every stone block of the temple complex was labelled and removed later to be assembled, like a giant jigsaw puzzle, on the higher ground of Agilka Island. The project took ten years, saving one of Egypt’s most beautiful temples.
Some amazing aspects of the landing of Philea on Comet 67P stand out. First, after hurtling through space for over ten years, Philea lands just one day after 11 November 2014 (11.11 - Remembrance Day in Australia). Secondly, at the time of landing the very name Philea links strongly to ISIS - Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, the group striking terror in the Middle East (and many parts of the World!) What timing. for a group unknown, even in the last part of the decade long journey of the Rosetta spacecraft.
Thirdly, the very name Philea heralds the imminent TIME OF THE END! This is a strong emphasis in Daniel (see below), but also points to the Day of the Lord throughout the Propehets and the Book of Revelation
(Daniel 12) 4 O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro and search anxiously [through the Book], and knowledge [of God’s purposes as revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great.
9 And he [the angel] said, Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be tried, smelted, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the teachers and those who are wise shall understand.
The Rosetta Spacecraft
From Wikipedia, the spacecraft is (apparently) named after the Rosetta Stone, an Egyptian stone monument. It is reported that a comparison of the hieroglyphs on the Rosetta Stone and the obelisk helped to decipher the Egyptian writing system. The Rosetta spacecraft carries a micro-etched nickel alloy Rosetta disc (donated by the Long Now Foundation) inscribed with 13000 pages of text in 1200 different languages.
Rosetta is an interesting name and can be rearranged to point to the Cross!!

Behold He COMETh!!!!
The word COMET is clearly contained within COMETh, and the word Cometh is used widely throughout the Word of God, including in several references to His 2nd Coming!! The watching wise perceive this. Just a few examples are below (from KJV).
(Psalm 96:13) Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the Earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth
(Isaiah 26:21) Behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood. ,
(Isaiah 13:9) Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up.
(Matthew 25:6) 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
(Luke 12:40) 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
(1 Thessalonians 5:2) 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
