"RE: FJ: 11.18.13: Fatima & Lourdes"

FJ,

In your letter, a couple things were mentioned:

This seems to be correlate with the Fatima Prophecies and with the Lourdes (France) apparitions

There is no possibility that the “prophecies” of Fatima were from the LORD.

Also the Lourdes apparitions, like Fatima, Knock, Guadalupe, Medjugorje, etc, were not from the LORD, either.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Whatever spoke at Fatima & Lourdes prophesied on its own, it wasn’t sent by the LORD:

Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied

That entity, which appeared and spoke, receives prayer and worship, a direct violation of the first commandment.

That entity espouses a works based religion, contradicting the gospel of grace & the epistles of Paul, and essentially agrees with Pharisees.

No one can possibly approach the LORD through that entity.

That entity cannot deliver us:

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Cannot go through anyone else but Jesus:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Peter knew that no one, but the LORD, should be worshipped, and refused to receive worship:

Acts 10:25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

The angel also refused to receive worship, and warned John to only worship God:

Revelation 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Jesus responded to the devil’s desire for worship, by stating that only the Lord God should be worshipped:

Matthew 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

No one else in heaven is worthy to be worshipped, or can be prayed to, only the LORD:

Psalm 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Before I was saved, I used to “pray” to something that I thought was Mary, the mother of Jesus.

However, if I thought that Mary was able to hear my prayers, and those of millions of others, simultaneously, in my heart I made a goddess out of her.

She was not “super-human”, where she could simultaneously hear millions of prayers.

Not even the angels can hear the prayers of millions simultaneously.

Only a supernatural deity, who is omnipresent & omniscient can hear the prayers of millions simultaneously.

So, by “praying” to whom I thought was Mary, I was ascribing to her the attributes that belong to the LORD alone.

I made a goddess out of her, and therefore committed idolatry and broke the first commandment.

Then when I also had statues of her, I broke the second commandment.

How could that possibly be of the LORD?   It can’t.

Only the LORD hears our prayers:

II Samuel 22:7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

Only the LORD hears our prayers from heaven:

I Kings 8:34 Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.

Then on Mount Carmel many cries were made to heaven, but no one else in heaven heard or answered, except the LORD.

Only the LORD hears the prayers of his people:

II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Would we dare to call upon believers that have passed on, like the apostles or Mary? They will not answer us, only the LORD answers our prayers:

Job 5:1 Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?

Job knew that there is only one that hears us in heaven, the Almighty:

Job 31:35 Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.

Only to the LORD should we come in prayer, as only he can hear us, and only he can answer us:

Psalm 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

No one else can hear our prayers, only the LORD – besides him, there is none that hears our words:

Isaiah 41:26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

Believers that have passed on, or even angels also, are still infinitely less capable of being like God:

Isaiah 55:8 ¶ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Mary has not “evolved” into a divine being, a goddess.

We should not think that she is capable of hearing and answering our prayers.

Whatever appeared & spoke at Fatima & Lourdes, is something that receives worship & allows people to pray to it.

That certainly is not of the LORD.

The real Mary of the Bible, the mother of Jesus, would never commit such blasphemy and heresy - it wasn’t her - it was something else.

Whatever that was that appeared at Fatima & Lourdes, is clearly not worthy to be praised and worshipped.

Only Jesus is worthy:

Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Thank you,

Gino
