Hi Beloved waiting ones,

A time ago the LORD gave me a word with which to encourage my brothers and sisters in CHRIST (you – the doves).

We all know (or should know) that a Word comes to us by studying Scriptures, thru a word given by another Christian or thru dreams.

 

A brother on this site took me to task (no names – no pack-drill as they say in the army) for not giving the honor to the originator,
that I received a Word of encouragement from and shared on this site to the benefit and encouragement of all (judging by the replies received the next day).

 

My question is the title of this piece – Who gets the Glory for a Word given – is it GOD or is it another person who got inspired by God the HOLY SPIRIT, who is our teacher?

I contend that if the glory is given to GOD and the Word is taken by the reader and given to others that they might also be strengthened, then the
Word has served its purpose, and the LORD gets all the honor as all honor must be given to the LORD.

 

Point in case:

2Ti 2:2  And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

 

In our educational system, there are few greater sins than that of plagiarism.
"Be innovative, creative, and original," our teachers say—which is fine for schoolwork, but not for ministry.
Because there is no such thing as plagiarism in ministry, Paul told Timothy to take the very things he had heard Paul teach and pass them on to others.

This is the strength of my argument and it comes from one of my mentors(Jon Courson) and forms the basis of everything that I publish and ever will publish.

I give honor only to GOD who declares all things and gives me the inspiration as well as to all in Five Doves.

I pray of our LORD JESUS CHRIST that HE will encourage all who receive from HIM to share and give all the honor ONLY TO HIM.
