"Keith C on Kevin Heckle"

Hi Keith C, I believe Kevin Heckle is fully right on that statment, do the Jews read the book of revelation. The book is much about the Jews but is a prophetic book for the church.
The jews who come to Christ during great tribulation will then be reading the book of revelation along with the whole of the new testament.

"Kevin Heckle - The Mystery of the Antichrist"

    Hi Kevin

    You said:

“The Book of Revelation, according to its opening verses, is a prophecy addressed to the Church.”

    That is only half right.

    Prophecy, yes.

Addressed to the Church, no.  (that is - if by Church you mean those saved during the current dispensation – the Age of Grace – starting on the Pentecost after the resurrection / ending at the Harpodzo.)

The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ details the events of 70th week of Daniel.

The first 69 weeks of Daniel were of, by, and for the Jew.  The 70th week is part and parcel of the same group, to the same people, for the same reason.

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The “Church” (as defined above) didn’t exist at the time of the first 69 weeks, and had no part in it.

The “Church” (as defined above) isn’t present on Earth at the time of the 70th week, and has no part in it.
