The Fig Tree is the Key
I have noticed several prophecy researches have focused on June with increasing interest lately, and my own studies have lead me to look at this June as a time of importance. The fig tree is the key to understanding when the rapture will occur. The young leaves and firstripe figs appear about the first of June, late spring, with summer starting in just a few days on the 21st of June.
The Lord said learn about the Fig tree. The early figs are the most desired. Now think about this comparison of the Fig tree when its branch becomes tender and it puts out small leaves, you know summer is coming; so, when you see these things you know when the Lord is coming! When does this parable say the Lord is coming? Well, on its face it says he will come when we see the tender leaves appear on the fig tree, late May or early June! Even though this parable has more than one facet in its meaning it would seem misleading if the Lord didn’t appear some time in the spring.
First clue the fig tree and arrival of the Master
Pro 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
This scripture reads like a prophetic parable making a comparison to those who attend to the fig tree are rewarded when it bears fruit (June); just as those who wait for the master will be rewarded with honor.
Second clue when the fig tree casts its early figs
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
In this verse the stars falling from heaven are Satan and his angels being cast to earth having but a short time. The words “even as a fig tree” can also be interpreted “even when the fig tree” casts her young figs. And, the mighty wind is of course the mighty rushing wind of the Holy Spirit, just like the mighty wind that caught Elijah up to heaven. The untimely figs in this verse are “Olynthos”, figs that grow through the winter, yet do not completely mature until spring; they are fragile and many fall off in the spring wind. This scripture suggests that when Satan is cast down to earth the figs (raptured saints) will be taken away by a mighty wind (the Holy Spirit)
Third clue we arise at the time of firstripe figs
Song of Solomon 2:13 'The fig tree has ripened its figs, and the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come away!”
When the first ripe figs are ready and the vines are blossoming the Lord says arise and come away. This would be occurring in late spring around the first of June.
Forth clue the spring figs and the righteous people are gone
Micah 7:1 What misery is mine! I am like one who gathers summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard; there is no cluster of grapes to eat, none of the early figs that I crave.
2 The godly have been swept from the land; not one upright man remains.
In this verse the lamentation is that there are no first ripe figs to be found, and then makes the startling statement that all the righteous people have been swept away from the land. The timing would be spring and the event that takes away the righteous people is the rapture.
