This is an outstanding movie about what could happen in a nuclear war scenario. The original "On the Beach" starred Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner in 1959. I believe the newer movie is much better and very much worth seeing! In 1959 my parents and I went to the Carmel Theater to see the original "On the Beach". I have always felt strongly that that powerful movie set me on my way to eventually become born again and subsequently teach end time Bible prophecy.
P.S. The acting is excellent and the plot is gripping! It will definitely hold your attention! So get out a big bowl of popcorn and watch the movie! I love sprinkling garlic power or garlic salt on popcorn. Try it, it is awesome!
P.P.S. Don't think there might be some type of nuclear war in these End Times in which we are living? I guess you haven't looked closely at your Bible. Zechariah 14:12 states, "Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth." Now what in the world could cause something like this to happen? A no brainer----- a nuclear blast! Just for interest sake, nuclear weapons were developed by 1945 (Hiroshima), and just three years later in 1948 Israel became a state, beginning these End Times in which we are living. Coincidence? Not at all! God is very precise in fulfilling His prophecies in the Bible! Now get out the popcorn and watch the movie, and know Jesus (Israel's Messiah) as your Lord and Savior so you can leave this world in the upcoming Rapture!
