How was it that so many in the nation all went the same way, together, at the same time?

Judges 3:7 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

Judges 8:33 And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baalberith their god.

Judges 10:6 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.

How was it that almost everyone in the northern kingdom went the same way, together, at the same time?

II Kings 17:9 And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

  10 And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:

  11 And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:

  12 For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.

  16 And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

  17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Why did they never repent of the sins of Jeroboam, either?

II Kings 13:6 Nevertheless they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained the grove also in Samaria.)

How was it that almost everyone in Judah went the same way, together, at the same time?

Ezekiel 16:2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

]  51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

Jeremiah 11:13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

Why did the people of Judah, except Hezekiah and Josiah, never repent of the high places, either?

II Kings 14:4 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as yet the people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places.

Is it possible, that in addition to individual evil spirits, tempting, deceiving, and misleading individual people;

That there were some powerful fallen celestial beings, coordinating the deception and misleading, so that all the people were deceived and misled the same way at the same time?

If that was so, then is it possible that the same thing is happening in the world today?

How is it that so many people in the country, in so many countries, are going the same way, together, at the same time?

How are so many going along with sodomy, killing babies, drag shows for children, and mutilating the young?

It's not mass hypnosis, it must be the same thing that was going in Israel.

If that's so, then what are the sins, that us Christians, are never repenting of?

What sins like the sins of Jeroboam, or what high places, are we never repenting of?

And maybe, because of that, is everyone around us, then, being swallowed up in country-wide temptations, deceptions, and mis-leadings?

What have we done? Or not done? That is facilitating the fall of our countries?
