"WHAT IS AN OVERCOMER"

WHAT IS AN OVERCOMER ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES ?..............

An "overcomer" is one who "overcomes" which qualifies one to be raptured to heaven to be with the Lord according to :

Revelation 3:21

"To him that OVERCOMES will I grant to sit with Me in My throne even as I also OVERCAME...."

Revelation 12:11

"And they OVERCAME him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony....."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

The word "OVERCAME' is a past tense action verb. The word "they", in Rev 12:11, is in reference to the word "brethren" in the previous Scripture, 12:10, which means the Church. Therefore, we are told that the Church has just been raptured to heaven at this point because "THEY OVERCAME" "by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony".  Revelation 12:10-12 are the rapture Scriptures .

According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus !
