Jan, I copied and pasted your post in your reply to me from May 22nd.Your very first comment from the Sermon on the Mount about Blessed are the peacemakers --- and that was because??? If we point out heretical doctrine, somehow we are not peacemakers? Is that what you are inferring? So, we let everything just slide down a slippery slope and all Christians and non-Christians slide down the slope with those who are promoting heresy - is that what you mean? And the part about love your enemies, bless those who curse you??? I never called Clare & Ezekial enemies; I don't consider them my enemies. Who cursed anybody? You are making no sense, but you don't seem to realize it.And your comment about Jesus telling us not to judge, but we are to use good judgment, where you are mixing 2 totally different verses and putting them together. If I had a guess, just a wild GUESS, that's all, I would GUESS that you are a Roman Catholic. You may not be, but you REASON like they do and you butcher scripture like they do! And you contradict yourself several times in your own comments, but you don't seem to even realize it (i.e. "Jesus was clear about not judging, however, we are to use good judgment") DUH???And your comments:He who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.I Cor. 2: 15-16.So if we have the mind of Christ, it was Christ who said, "Do not judge."******************Okay, so He who is spiritual judges all things....But we have the mind of Christ.....it was Christ who said, 'Do not judge'... You just totally flip-flopped. WOW, you are really making a lot of sense there, Jan. I never saw such a twisted piece of scripture exegesis in all my life! We ARE supposed to judge all things if we are spiritual, but since we have the mind of Christ who said, "do not judge" - then we are not supposed to judge all things?? (DUH?)And you commented:Somewhere in Psalms, (my concordance doesn't give it)is a scripture which says:"Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm."I would certainly contemplate that verse if I were you.The verse, "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm," is not in Psalms. It is I Chronicles 16:22, and it is actually a verse about David speaking. David was extolling God's everlasting covenant with the JEWS. He is speaking about the JEWISH people. He is calling THEM HIS ANOINTED and HIS PROPHETS, he is speaking of NO ONE on YOUTUBE!There are a lot of people today in this Christ-rejecting world who claim to be "anointed" of God and "prophets" of God and they are no more anointed of God or prophets of God than was Mary Baker Eddy, Ignatius Loyola, or Pope John Paul II.And you stated that:I would certainly contemplate that verse if I were you.WHY? might I ask? OH! I KNOW, LET ME GUESS, shall I? Is it because YOU THINK that Clare is anointed and she's a prophet and I shouldn't question anything that comes out of her mouth? Uh, excuse me --- but I don't believe she is anointed for anything and I certainly do NOT believe she is any type of prophet in any sense of the word, so in her case, I have no reason to "contemplate that verse" as you suggest. I believe that what she is doing is acting as a medium and channeling messages, messages that many times contradict the scripture.**************************I don't know the "Him" you are serving, but I serve the King of Kings & Lord of Lords and have been for nearly 36 years.Rene****************************************************************************************
Re: previous week's posting (May 15) by Rene: To Jan J. Re: Clare.Rene,Regarding your lengthy posting to me about gossip andsaying "Oh by the way as CHRISTIANS we are SUPPOSEDto JUDGE all things." (Caps are yours):My response to Rene:Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.Matthew 5:9But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray forthose who spitefully use you and persecute you, that youmay be sons of your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:44-45aJudge not that you be not judged. For with what judgmentyou judge, you will be judged: and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?Matthew 7: 1-4Jesus was clear about not judging, however we are to use good judgment. He who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.I Cor. 2: 15-16.So if we have the mind of Christ, it was Christ who said, "Do not judge." (See the above Matt. verses), yet in thisworld we make judgments every day.....good vs. evil, right vs. wrong.Somewhere in Psalms, (my concordance doesn't give it)is a scripture which says:"Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm."I would certainly contemplate that verse if I were you.Serving Him,Jan J
