"Jean Stepnoski- Ruling of the Saducees"

Hi John and Doves,

Jean, your post: -  http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2011/jeans530.htm

I absolutely adore your posts, Jean. You have a very intimate knowledge of our LORD. You bring up the small details (seeming) and flesh it out, giving us new insight into the character and beautiful precision of our Saviour. Your knowledge is wonderful. I love learning these things about LORD Jesus. It makes Him less abstract - more 'human' as well. I don't know how to describe it because everything He did and said, was divinely inspired etc., but you point out His absolute understanding of both the divine nature of God and the fallibility of human beings and our limited nature. Our 'tunnel vision', if you will. How everything Jesus said and did was to 'grow' us. Isn't it amazing? He didn't have that much time but poured in a bottomless treasure of love, wisdom and plain old logic into this sad, tired, violence ridden world.

I had an old school friend to stay this weekend. We hadn't seen each other for about 10 years so had a lot of catching up to do. When she left, this morning, she congratulated me on my wonderful happy home. She is also a Christian. We talked about it on the way back to London and she was raving about how happy our home is. When I replied to her compliments, I could say, with total honesty, that this miracle had occurred ever since I had started to take my faith seriously. Ever since I put our LORD at the top of my agenda. From being a very passionate, loud and argumentative bunch, we have become so mindful of each other. We still indulge in our art, music, play acting etc. We're still rather loud - haha - but we are loving and careful of each others hearts. This miracle would never have happened without the LORD. And we all know it. I just wish the rest of the unbelieving world could know it. Our LORD is just beautiful.

Thank you for you wonderful posts, Jean.
