Dear Doves,

Noah may have gotten a 'seven-day warning', BUT Lot was only given about a 'six-hour warning'. The two angels came to warn Lot the evening before God destroyed Sodom early the very next morning. Because we, as born-again Christians, are told to 'always watch' and 'be ready' for the rapture, I do not think we have been promised any 'specific warning' other than the 'birth pangs' we are told to 'watch' for:

Luke 21:28 & 31
"When these things BEGIN TO TAKE PLACE, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption IS DRAWING NEAR."
"Even so, WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS HAPPENING, you know that the kingdom of God IS NEAR."

WHAT ARE "THESE THINGS" THAT SCRIPTURE PROMISES 'WE WILL SEE HAPPEN' AS OUR WARNING 'BEFORE' OUR RAPTURE?

Luke 21:11
"There will be GREAT EARTHQUAKES, .....and FEARFUL EVENTS,.....and GREAT SIGNS FROM HEAVEN."

Like 20:25-26
"There will be SIGNS IN THE SUN, MOON AND STARS. On the earth nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the ROARING AND TOSSING OF THE SEA. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, FOR THE HEAVENLY BODIES WILL BE SHAKEN."

CONCLUSION:

We are now "standing up and lifting up our heads"! We are seeing "great earthquakes" in various places, and "fearful events" like the "roaring and tossing of the sea" caused by the tsunamis in Japan and Indonesia.  We are about to see "great signs from heaven" both this fall when the "heavenly bodies are shaken", and in 2014-2015 when we see the total solar and lunar eclipses IN THE MONTH OF NISAN.
