"Christ went to the cross, Paul to Rome, Chuck Missler to New Zealand"

Dear Doves,

Please ignore the teachings of Chuck Missler and spend more time reading The Bible and knowing what it says, not what somebody else says it says.  We are called as Christians to bloom where we are planted not run far far away.  Paul knew he would preach to Caesar in Rome and probably die.  Christ knew the cross was part of his destiny.

For all of Chuck Missler’s apologetic and economic insight, it’s a shame he missed this:

National planning Cyprus-style solution for New Zealand

The New World Order is a global order.  The Bible says to flee to the mountains.  It’s a strategy that has worked in Afghanistan for centuries.  It doesn’t say leave your country.  We are the best equipped missionaries in our respective home towns.  Our lives make a big impact locally that few other missionaries could make if they set up shop locally to try to start a church or do serious evangelizing.  Don’t run away.  The Lord Jesus Christ will equip and empower us to be His witnesses and meet our physical needs.

We just have to trust Him and not run away, especially if we want to run away from life.  That is often understandable.  Unless the persecution is so bad that God Himself is forcing us out of town – then we should stay and fight until God starts whispering our new hometown in our ears.   We can run away from God, but never escape His notice.  Run to Jesus!  He is our Lord and Saviour!  Thank you, Jesus!
