"Convergence 2013"

Psalm 83... Gog and Magog war... meteors... earthquakes... the Pope... comet of the century... solar storms...
a world leader visting Jerusalem...

I have not posted anything in the past few weeks, but instead I just tried to absorb and weigh other letters on this website.  Additionally, I have been watching and reading various news outlets and comparing them to Bible prophecy.

2013 is shaping up to be the most biblically significant year I have ever observed.  I say that without the slightest hesitation, or exageration.

In 2011, I wrote a short piece about convergence.  One of the things I tried to convey was that the closer we came to the rapture, the more details of Bible prophecy would line up and fall into place.  I was convinced then (and am more convinced now)  that the closer we come, the more we will be united in the belief that Jesus is coming to take us home.  I think about the parable of the 10 virgins and see how all 10 of them were convicted that the bridegroom was on the way.  In light of that, I think that with the 2013 period of passover approaching, more and more will have their hearts and minds convicted.  Right now I can only say that a good many faithful watchers are looking at this significant season.  The closer we get (at the last minute?) I think all Christians will have their eyes opened to the fact that time has run out.  I hope everyone has oil for their lamps!

A warning to all watchers...

Ezekiel 33 says...  Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, 3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’

Just a few weeks ago a meteor hit Russia.  If it was a sign (and I believe it was) then what did it portend?  I was reminded of another passage from Ezekiel 38... I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”  Did the meteor portend the soon approaching time when army of Magog will be bombarded by great hailstones?  There are other interpretations to be sure, but time may bear this out.

Thank you John Tng for all you are doing.

Oh Lord please fill us with Your Holy Spirit and help us to be watchers who will cry out a warning.  Amen.
