"reply to Gino rapture(no confirmation of covenant yet)"

Hi Gino
I read an interesting translation on 2 Thessaonians  chapter 2. The translation is World English Bible.

There was a disturbing teaching that they were already living in the "day of the Lord" and Paul had to correct them and tell them when it would happen.
2 Thess chapter 2 starting with verse 3"Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction"
So what Paul is saying is that first the departure(rapture) must take place first and as soon as that happens the son of man will be revealed. He is letting them know that if they are still here or if they have not seen that millions of people have left the earth then it has not taken place. Afterwards if they are left behind because they were non-believers the anti-christ would be revealed.
Then verse 4 just tells you what the anti-christ will do as his reign moves forward.
Now to confirm this Paul repeats it starting in verse 6"Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season 7For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way" 8 "then the lawless one will be revealed...
Notice again Paul says something will depart or be taken out of the way and the anti christ will be revealed.
By reading several translations the clear meaning comes out.
It looks like a Pre trib rapture can be proven by this. Therefore the confirmation of the covenant has not yet started.
thanks
