I recently read your heart felt letter about wishy-washy churches.  I too have had difficulty finding a church that preached the Bible and the Bible only.  As former Catholics my wife and I had not been taught salvation through the shed blood of Jesus just salvation through the church.       

We became disillusioned (thank God) about the Catholic Church after an uncle passed away.  We were told at the time that payment for an anniversary mass was required.  When questioned, the priest told us that we would be allowing our uncle’s poor soul to remain in purgatory longer by not having a mass said in his behalf.  I can go on and on but enough said.

Today we are being fed through a Spirit filled bible teaching Media Church.  We are able to follow the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries 24/7 on SBN (Sunlife Broadcasting Network).  I am well aware of the events of the late 80’s.  Brother Swaggart was repentant before the Lord & the nation and was forgiven and has since been blessed greatly by God.  After months of prayer on his face before the Lord, his ministry has grown and now reaches more individuals than during his crusades. 

I’ve witness the “casting of stones” through facial expressions at the mention of his name but have yet to see any walk on water.  I enjoy the teachings on The Message of The Cross, A Study in The Word and Francis & Friends (a program where sister Francis and a panel of pastors discuss and answer emails and phone calls from listeners).  If you can’t view them in the morning several of them are repeated during the day or you can record the programs and view them at your leisure.  The SBN programs can be viewed on satellite thru Direct TV, Dish TV, Verizon FIOS, Glorystar, IPTV (Sky Angel) and many cable networks.  SBN is telecast worldwide and seen by 100’s of millions of Christians.  If interested and would like more info, you can email me at kennp68@hotmail.com  Blessings, Kenn
