Dear Doves,

 

1 Corinthians 15:23

"But EACH ONE IN HIS OWN ORDER: Christ the firstfruits, AFTERWARD those who are Christ's (who are the Church) at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers (raptures) the kingdom (the Church) to God the Father..."

 

The FIRST RAPTURE has already happened on Ascension Day when Jesus ascended (was raptured) into heaven:

Acts 1:9

"After He said this, HE WAS TAKEN UP BEFORE THEIR VERY EYES, and a cloud hid Him from their sight."

 

Jesus was the 'firstfruits of the dead' rapture, which was the FIRST RAPTURE.

1 Corinthians 15:20

"But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become THE 'FIRSTFRUITS OF THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP'."

 

 

The SECOND RAPTURE has yet to happen on THE DAY when His Church ascends (is raptured) into heaven:

Romans 8:23

"Not only that, but WE ALSO WHO HAVE THE' FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT' , even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, THE REDEMPTION (rapture) OF OUR BODY."

 

His Church will be the "firstfruits of the Spirit" rapture which will be the SECOND RAPTURE.

 

Therefore, there really are two raptures.
