If we look into history, Israel was depicted in Rev 12 exactly as Joseph's dream which caused him being sold by his brothers to Egypt.

Gen 37 9 Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
10 When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?”


Revelation Chapter 12 is actually describing TWO EVENTS with the Hebrew, separated by a very long time interval (+/- 2000 years).

IT DESCRIBES TWO EFFORTS OF MURDER BY THE DRAGON in two separated times :

The first effort was to try to kill the CHILD, not the woman and the dragon was STILL ALLOWED IN HEAVEN.

Rev 12:4 ..... the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to DEVOUR HER CHILD as soon  as it was born.

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

The woman in pain to deliver speaks about the Jews under the persecution of the Roman Empire from whom Jesus was born.

And the child speaks about the infant Jesus whom Herod tried to kill (which was actually the dragon's idea).

MANY PEOPLE SAY THIS SPEAKS ABOUT THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH, NO WAY THE CHURCH IS RAPTURED WHILE THE DRAGON  IS STILL ALLOWED IN HEAVEN. ALTHOUGH ITS RIGHTS TO HEAVEN SHALL BE CAST OUT TO THE EARTH WITH THE THIRD PART OF THE STARS LATER.
5 And she brought forth a MAN CHILD, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to His Throne.

We can see that the child was taken to His Throne, who was this child taken to His Throne ? Jesus was seen at the right hand of God by Steven

Acts 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God, so He was Jesus on the Throne.

While the raptured church (the great multitude) is found IN FRONT OF the Throne, not on the Throne:

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, STOOD BEFORE the throne, and BEFORE THE LAMB.

Look ! the word MANCHILD was written two times by John (verse 5 and 13), Does the church of God consist of MAN only ? No, this is not about the church.

Further : the dragon knew this Manchild was about to be delivered thats why he prepared to kill Him, so this is not about the rapture of the church because nobody knows the hour and day of the rapture.

If this Manchild speaks about the rapture of the church why would the dragon try to devour Him at the time of Rapture ? Thats not possible because Jesus will send His angels to gather the saints, Mark 13:27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds,...

CONCLUSION : THE CHILD WAS JESUS WHO WAS BORN DURING ROMAN PERSECUTION OF THE JEWS, THE DRAGON TRIED TO KILL HIM AS SOON AS HE WAS BORN BUT FAILED AND HE WAS RAISED FROM DEATH AND TAKEN TO HEAVEN TO GOD'S THRONE 2000 YEARS AGO.
THE SECOND ATTEMPT TO KILL THE WOMAN WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE DRAGON HAS BEEN CAST OUT IN THE END OF TIMES GREAT TRIBULATION.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,....(THE DRAGON CAST OUT IN THE END OF TIMES)
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

AFTER THE DRAGON CAST OUT OF HEAVEN AND ANTICHRIST IS LAUNCHED TO CONQUER THE WORLD, IT WAITS UNTIL 2ND HALF OF TRIBULATION WHERE THE 2 WITNESSES SHALL BE KILLED SO NOBODY CAN RESIST ANTICHRIST AND FALSE PROPHET ANY LONGER AND THEN ANTICHRIST WILL RECOVER FROM DEADLY WOUND, THE WORLD WILL PRAISE HIM AND HE THEN ENTER THE TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM.

THIS SECOND ATTEMPT TO KILL THE WOMAN WILL HAPPEN AT THE AOD WHEN ANTICHRIST ENTER THE TEMPLE OF GOD AND DECLARE HIMSELF AS GOD, AS HAS BEEN WARNED BY JESUS THAT THE JEWS MUST MAKE AN EXODUS OUT OF ISRAEL, BECAUSE THE DEVIL HATE THE JEWS SINCE THE ANCIENT TIMES AND WANTED TO KILL THEM ALL.

Matt. 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
ALL THE JEWS WILL GATHER AND SHOCKED, THEY WILL WATCH WITH FEAR AS THAT "MIGHTY MESSIAH WHO LEAD THE WORLD" DECLARES HIMSELF AS GOD, YES THEY WILL GATHER AND DECIDE TO RUN AS THEY REMEMBER THE WARNING OF PROPHET DANIEL.

WILL GOD LET THE ISRAELITES DIE ? NO GOD WILL GIVE THEM TWO WINGS OF GREAT EAGLE LIKE HE DID WHEN GOD TOOK THEM OUT OF EGYPT :

Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.
God Will send angel Michael to lead the Exodus from Israel

Daniel 12 12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

ANTICHRIST WILL SEND HIS ARMY TO CHASE AND KILL THEM LIKE PHARAOH SENT HIS ARMY TO CAPTURE THE JEWS AT THE RED SEA, BUT THE EARTH WILL HELP THE JEWS :

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

So the woman (the Jews) will be saved from the attack and will be nourished somewhere in the wilderness until the 3,5 years is over where Lord Jesus will come down from heaven with raptured saints to Armageddon battle to take over the world from antichrist.

WHO ARE THE REMNANT OF HER SEED :

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD = TORAH/JUDAISM

TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST : THE NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE

So the REMNANTS are the Jews who believed in Judaism but have repented and accept Jesus Christ in other parts of the world who didnt join the EXODUS. The foolish virgins left behind are not the part of the remnant but should these foolish virgins dare to refuse the beast and its mark of the beast they shall be called saints by the Bible. Rev 13:7 Then the beast was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

This remnant could also refer to the 144000 sealed Jews. The 144000 are not spiritual Jews or christians because spiritual Jews/christians dont belong to any tribe.
 

WHAT IS THE 1260 DAYS IN THE WILDERNESS SPEAKS ABOUT ?

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

HISTORY SHOWS THAT EVER SINCE THE RCC RECEIVED THE JUSTINIAN DECREE THEY HAVE RULED EUROPE for +/- 1260 YEARS LIKE KINGS AND PERSECUTE THE PEOPLE WHO REFUSED TO CONVERT TO CATHOLIC CHURCH.

THE JUSTINIAN DECREE WAS IMPLEMENTED ON YEAR 538 AD AND THE RCC REIGN WITH ABSOLUTE POWER UNTIL 1798 WHEN NAPOLEON SENT GENERAL BERTHIER WITH HIS ARMY TO DEFEAT AND ARREST POPE, THUS ENDING THE 1260 YEARS OF ABSOLUTE DICTATORSHIP. MANY JEWS WHO REFUSED TO CONVERT HAVE BEEN PERSECUTED, THEIR PROPERTY AND WEALTH CONFISCATED BY THE CHURCH.

This is the  JUSTINIAN DECREE :

Apostle John has prophesied the long period of 1260 days of persecution of the Jews and the church, as has been admitted by Pope John Paul II.

Apostle John saw this vision circa AD 90 when he was taken to heaven and Rev 12 does not speak about stars and constellation which appears on 2017 or 2018 or else.
