I will start with this clip. The man dressed in delicate clothes talks with reverence about Mary--it's pretty bizarre:
I want to point out the main unbiblical problems with Catholic doctrine.
1. Vain repetition in prayer Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Eg: Say 10 Our Fathers and 10 Hail Marys
2. Call NO ONE on earth fatherMatthew 23:9
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
3. There is one mediator between man and God in Jesus Christ1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and ONE mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
4. Mary worship is pretty obvious in the link I shared and how Satan tries to deflect away praise for what Jesus did on the cross.
5. Salvation by faith PLUS worksScripture is clear in Ephesians 2:8,9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
6. There's also infant baptism which is unscriptural. Jesus was baptized by John as a 30-year-old man even though Jesus had never sinned himself
7. Confession, absolution, purgatory, the sacraments, absolving sins, and the Pope as Vicar aka God's representative on earth all weird
8. A huge sign to me is 99% of pedophilia claims were against the Catholic Church. We heard about it almost daily for years. But why? Statistically if there were no causality differences between Catholics and Protestants it should be roughly 50/50. I believe Satan dwells in the Catholic Church. All kinds of idols and bizarre artwork and more within the Vatican.
9. If you've never read Foxe's book of Martyrs, it sounds amazingly similar to the description given in the Bible of the w**** Mystery Babylon. They burned countless Protestants at the stake. There are claims that the pope assisted the Germans in acquiring all of the wealth of the Jews that had been murdered during WWII.
10. The Vatican owns one of the largest telescopes in the world which I believe is in Nevada or somewhere in the Southwest United States. The name of that telescope is Lucifer. This could be significant if there is an alien invasion of strong delusion, or establishing a one world religion as the false prophet.
11. The Mystery Whore of Babylon is "that great City" that sits on 7 hills. Revelation 17:9
“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits."
Rome is literally known as the city that sits on seven hills. I've heard countless times Christians say that America or NYC is the mystery whore of Babylon, but it doesn't fit in my opinion. The Romans are the ones who crucified the Son of God.
12. Away from me, I never knew you. Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
The group he's referring to knows his name, casts out demons in his name AKA exorcisms, and have done many wonders. They do not teach the need to be born again of the spirit of God which is why I believe the Catholic church is who Jesus is referring to.
The parable of the 10 virgins seems to fit Protestants vs Catholics as well. Again it's a roughly 50/50 division between Catholics and Protestants and the group that knows Jesus and has the Holy Spirit would be the ones with oil in their lamps
